Before firewood season officially kicks off, the team at Mitchell’s Timber has been hard at work behind the scenes.

We’ve been out mulching and clearing fence lines using our excavator fitted with a grab saw, ensuring properties are cleaned up, safe, and ready for the months ahead. This equipment allows us to efficiently remove unwanted timber, tidy up boundaries, and prepare sites with precision and care.

Now that the relentless rain has finally subsided and the once-soggy ground has dried up a bit, we're back in full swing, felling trees and splitting logs. And the best part about being prepared for wet weather? Our valued customers didn't have to go without their timber during those endless rainy days. In fact, we've been able to keep up with demand and then some, as you can see from these pictures of the saw in action and one of our trusty delivery trucks being loaded up with yet another load of top-quality timber for yet another happy customer 🤩🪵🔥
