To support continuing growth in our business, we are seeking to employ a skilled Semi Walking Floor Driver to join our team in Brisbane.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Minimum 2 years experience driving a Semi Trailer or similar
Heavy Combination license as minimum
Team player able to work with minimal supervision
An interest in developing your skill set
WH&S White Card/ Blue Card
PPE - Steel Capped Boots, Double Striped Hi-Vis Long Sleeved top and Pants

Responsibilities and Duties
Safely operate Rigid, Semi’s, Doubles and Tippers and/or other nominated vehicles as determined from time to time by your supervisor and your driving ability and licence
Complete tasks associated with licence and vehicle being operated: For example:
Operate tipper truck and other rigid vehicles
Operate within guidelines of relevant Traffic Management Plans
With appropriate skills, qualifications and experience, operate the tipper or walking floor in accordance with industry and company standards and job specifications
Undertake minor servicing and repairs as necessary, including mechanical repairs such as replacement of globes, gaskets, clamps, hoses, tyre changing etc, in accordance with experience and qualifications.
Carry out routine daily cleaning and maintenance of plant including making minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, and replenishment of consumables.
Secure plant, tools and site at the end of the day
Maintain accurate records as appropriate, including daily machine logs, maintenance schedules, timesheets etc
Work as part of a team to achieve outcomes.
Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications and Skills
Appropriate licence (Minimum HC)
Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
Appropriate plant operating competency certificates
Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively while unsupervised and as a team member.
Strong knoweldge of maintenance / operational requirements of plant and equipment and willingness to undertake minor maintenance activities and replacement of consumables.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to comply with Workplace Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental legislation and plan requirements.
Punctual and reliable approach to work hours.
Able to follow precise instructions
Basic reading and writing skills, including the ability to fill in forms and documentation
Willingness and ability to work away from home, in a work camp situation or other remote area
Work well in a team environment
Demonstrate excellent work ethics and flexibility
Work within time constraints without compromising high standards
Always be honest and trustworthy
Plan ahead and show initiative
Willing and able to learn new skills and utilise them on the job, and/or undergo training as required
