Baking Industry Training Australia (BITA) is a fully registered training organisation that delivers nationally accredited training for the baking industry. BITA is owned and operated as the training arm of the National Baking Industry Association (NBIA) which gives industry direct control and input into the training of our industry’s future. Industry control also means that any funds generated thr

ough training can be re-invested directly back into the development of the baking industry. BITA offers specialised on-site programs designed to meet the needs of apprentices, employers and industry. BITA courses are specifically tailored to the needs of the baking industry. Nationally Recognised & Accredited Apprenticeships:
Bread Baker;
Pastry Cook; and
Baker/Pastry Cook. All training is delivered under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) which provides for nationally recognised programs. We aim for an open dialogue, but we do have some guidelines for posting on our page. Please do not:

We might be biased, but the quality of our students’ work continues to skyrocket. Last week was particularly impressive, with our students producing outstanding results. The week’s classes covered a range of topics, including gateaux, tortes, meringues and sponge cakes, to name a few. As the future of the industry, our apprentices are fortunate to be mentored by some of the best trainers in Australia.

Well what a week it has been in the BITA kitchen. Sponges, cakes, pudding and biscuits. All our students passsed with flying colors and the end results are incredible.

We are truly blessed to have some of the best trainers in the industry mentoring our apprentices.

Thursday in the BITA kitchen was massive for our students. They were flat strap baking biscuits and cookies followed up by chocolate decorations.

The products look incredible and it’s only half way through the week. Cannot wait to see the end products once Friday rolls round.
