G’day, we are currently raising funds for Steve and Ange Minnis. Last month their beautiful little daughter Evie was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the young age of 8. Evie has since undergone brain surgery to remove most of the tumour however she still has a long road ahead filled with ongoing radiotherapy, chemotherapy and rehabilitation. To help support the family during this difficult and heartbreaking time, we have created this page to raise funds for the Minnis family to assist Evie in her tough battle ahead. Any funds raised will go towards modifying their family home to make Evie more comfortable on her return and allow Evie, Steve and Ange to take a well deserved break from hospitals and medical appointments. Steve has worked for our business, Garden Manicure, for the past 18 years. During this time Steve has built great relationships with colleagues and clients. Steve is a well respected, loved and admired person and is an integral member of our team. Many employees, clients and friends have asked “How can we help?” .... well this is a good place to start. Garden Manicure is currently hiring......

- We are offering a 1st Year Apprenticeship in Parks and Gardens for a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to start their career in Horticulture.

- The role requires an enthusiastic, keen and self-motivated person with a passion for outdoors and gardens.

- The successful applicant will be working within a small team and supported by experienced staff.

- Previous experience working with various outdoor tools and machinery will be an advantage.

- Duties will include, but not limited to, planting, mowing, mulching, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, edging, plant identification, turf maintenance, tree maintenance, physical work, machinery use and occasional heavy lifting.

- An understanding of plants, herbicides and pesticides will be preferred. Red Card and First Aid Certificate is an advantage but not essential.

- A current manual drivers licence an advantage

- You will be expected to commence, or continue, a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens immediately.
