Below is the full listing of store units available to take into battle. Pick one of ours, or bring your own unit (recommended 100 - 150 points) to lead to victory!

Join us this Saturday (and every Saturday in June!) from 11:00am as the battle for the excavation site begins!

Bring along:
A single unit of your choice (recommended size: 100-150 points)
The datasheets for your units
You can attach a character to your unit as part of your points total

Don't have a suitable unit ready? No problem! We'll have SIX incredible units from across the 41st Millennium available for players to take command of and lead into battle.
Whether you're a veteran general or looking to get some dice rolling for the first time, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced game, meet some fellow hobbyists and fight for victory!
Will your forces secure the relic, or will they be buried beneath the ruins?

🖌 New Free Painting Workshop Unlocked 🎨

~TATTOOS & WARPAINT~

Drung Eddpunch was a simple gargant with simple ambitions: a left hook as crushing as a draconith’s jaws, and quicker than a cut grot.
When he heard of a mage who could carve spells into flesh, he hauled a sack of looted treasure across leagues to find them. At last, he stood before the reclusive sorcerer and made his wish plain. He wanted the deadliest punch in The Mortal Realms.
The ritual was long, slow, and searing. Drung bit his tongue and hissed curses as swirling ink was burned into his brow and cheek, each line pulsing with savage power.
At last, it was done.
Drung clenched his fist, feeling a wave of pulsing heat radiate from his temple down to his knuckles. He grinned.

Pop into Warhammer Hobart to pick out a section of gargant skin (or bring your own model) and design your own freehanded masterpiece! We'll give you tips for creating a striking design and freehanding it on cleanly, plus some tips for finishing up your piece with skin tones, hair and veins.

It's just a couple of days until we kick off April's Painting Challenge!

As always, the first option is to simply paint up your free mini of the month however you please! Starting Saturday, we have stacks of Cryptguard to give away - why not stick around to add some colour while you're here?

Our special effects challenge this month is ✨Let it Glow✨ where we celebrate all things that can light up our grimdark settings. Whether you're already an OSL legend, or you're wondering what OSL even stands for*, this category is a great way to practise lighting effects and bring extra life to your minis!

Are you a beginner and keen to show off your latest Warhammer creation? Our Battle Honours category is for you! No rules, no themes, just bring in whatever you've finished painting lately and we'll display it with pride!

All entries can be displayed in the window until our next Painting Challenge starts! Message, call 6231 8471 or pop into the shop for more info!

🖌 New Painting Workshop Unlocked 🎨

~ INFERNAL GLOW ~
A very peculiar band of Chaos Space Marines have made their home in the shop...

The Hexbound Crucible are a warband who invoke each of the Chaos Gods - not to bless themselves, but to bind those dark gifts within their wargear upon the Anvil of Damnation.
Some warriors imbue their helms with the power of Tzeentch, granting twisted foresight. Others anoint their weapons with the rage of Khorne, drawing ever more blood from their foes. This infernal power burns from within the affected gear and casts each marine in their own unholy light.

Come into the store to anoint your own member of the Hexbound Crucible! This ritual will teach you the basics of glow effects and object source lighting, while letting you craft a story by choosing which wargear is to be hallowed, and by which god.
Drop in anytime to give it a try, or let us know if you want to join a larger group in one of our scheduled sessions! We can seat up to 6 painters per session.

Starting next week, we’ll be running scheduled sessions every Sunday at 2pm. Although this is a completely free workshop, bookings are essential. Please message us or call 6231 8471 to secure your spot!

There's a new mini of the month, and with it comes a new monthly painting challenge!

We have stacks of Darkoath Marauders to give out - come in to pick up the canvas for your entry to category 1! No rules or themes, just transform this free model however you want.

If you're up for a challenge, this month's special theme is ✨Arcane Energy✨
You can interpret the theme any way you'd like, but if you're stuck for ideas, come in any time to try our free magical effects workshop!

We also have a category for Battle Honours participants - this is the perfect category for beginners! To enter this category, you just need to show us whatever Warhammer greatness you've been working on lately!

All entries have the option to be displayed proudly in the front window of the shop up until the start of the next monthly challenge! For a little bragging rights and a lot of fun, join us for this month's painting challenge 🖌️

We're stoked to be running a monthly painting challenge here at Warhammer Hobart! This is a just-for-fun event that you can join to challenge yourself and get your fine work displayed in the store.

MINI OF THE MONTH
an open challenge to make this month's free mini as cool as possible!
RUST AND DECAY
Paint up any Warhammer model to look as tarnished, decomposed or weathered as you want! We're running free weathering tutorials in the shop to sharpen your skills. Pop in any time - we can even supply a model to practise on!
BATTLE HONOURS
Perfect for any new or returning hobbyist - this is a special category for Battle Honours participants to show off what they've finished recently!

Entries will be displayed in-store until the next mini of the month is released!

🔔OPENING HOURS ADJUSTMENT🔔
Jess is running off to get married!! While she's away, Reuben and James will be holding down the fort for any of your Warhammer needs.
From October 1st-12th, we'll be open for three days each week:
WEDNESDAY: 10am-6pm
SATURDAY:10am-6pm
SUNDAY:10am-4:30pm
