Our beautiful clients, Celina and Dave, invited us back to do the landscaping on the side of the house and add a few new gardens and a new lawn. After a massive effort from us, this is how the property turned out. Again, keeping it simple but effective, we have transformed the property using Corten Steel for all edgings, forming the edges for the paths with mortared-in Sandstone Steppers topped with limestone decorative gravel. We also added a few Art Deco panels for screening the services and clothesline area. We used a landscape lock transparent glue to help keep the gravel in place, as well as creating the garden beds with Corten steel, adding a few quite large rocks to break it up. We then incorporated a few Japanese Maples and Lamandra grasses, topped with double-cut gum bark for mulch in this main new garden. That then leaves us with the new lawn, again using good quality loam and the RTF instant lawn supplied by Strathair, and of course, the new lawn area is all fitted out with pop-up irrigation and drip lines in all gardens.
