Great to see Korongee becoming an Australian leader in care for dementia. It was an absolute pleasurer and extremely rewarding to work within Thomson Adsett architectural team as 1 of the lead architects to assist Glenview to realise Korongee.

It is fantastic to finally see Korongee complete and ready to open the doors for people living with dementia. Working with Thomson Adsett, cykel has been a part of the architectural design team for Korongee Village from inception to completion. Thomson Adsett and Cykel have contributed to the design and delivery of Korongee in a meaningful and authentic way.
In this case the whole is certainly greater than the sum of parts. Working with a highly collaborative team brings challenges and rewards and enriches the end product. The team consisted of Glenview, TA , CYKEL, SMG, PAPWORTH DAVIES, COVA, GANDY & ROBERTS, EQUALITY BUILDING, PIT AND SHERRY and FAIRBROTHERS.

The day before I’m due to climb kunanyi/Mt Wellington, I begin to wish I’d trained for it. When I was told weeks earlier that training for the uphill hike wasn’t necessary, I took that on as a challenge. But now it occurs to me that people prepare for months for the Point to Pinnacle event, an...

In collaboration with Field Labs and SolutionsWon Group Pty Ltd, we are proud to share one of our recent projects for Possability.

Making WIN News Tasmania this week was the submission of the development application for the social housing and community centre in East Devonport.

The initial design response was to create a space which is inclusive to the resident, but also welcoming to the broader community. The community engagement with the site was an integral component and has been designed to create a diverse activity base such as yoga classes, cooking classes to a community farmers market.

All proposed buildings including the community spaces and landscape features are designed with universal access and implement the base principle of allowing people to live with dignity.

Thanks to Lucy and the WIN team for the coverage
