The Huon show is coming up on Saturday 12th Nov. Come and check out our range of log splitters. There will be live log splitting demos all day. We will have the Exocut high output log splitter on display. It can get through 8 - 10 cubic metres of log rounds an hour! If you need high production, you won't do better than the Exocut splitter, made in NZ by people who know log splitters inside and out.

Agfest is just around the corner, May 5 - 8. Remember, tickets need to be purchased online beforehand, no gate sales. Drop in and see live demos and the Split-Fire range at our site M116, main rd, opposite the sheepdog trials arena. This year we will be operating a conveyor running off the 4490 hydraulics.

Here's an update on stock of Split-Fire and Wood-King log splitters in Hobart.

We have models 3203, 3403, and 4403 tractor powered splitters, and 1 x 4490, 1 x WK3265, and 1 x WK3465 portable splitters.

The WK3465 is a new addition to the Wood-King model line up.

It adds a 4 way knife to the basic 2 way action and doubles production in suitable wood. The WK3465 in stock has the log lifter fitted, and is priced at $7690 inc GST. Freight is extra. This machine is $1810 less than the equivalent Split-Fire 3470 at $9500.

As an aside, the 4 way knife on Wood-King and Split-Fire splitters is floating, so it is able to ride up when splitting. This means that unlike a fixed 4 way knife, The split wood between the knife wings and the splitter body will not jamb.
