Rural Garden Supplies Humpty Doo is a small locally owned and operated business in the Rural Darwin area. We focus on providing high quality landscaping, gardening and building material to customers anywhere between Darwin City and Darwin River! We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, friendly DIY advice and competitive prices! We believe there is nothing better in this tropical Darwin w

eather, than relaxing in your own beautiful garden oasis, and we want to help you build it! There's a reason we are Darwin's favourite and most trusted landscaping yard. When you visit, you can be certain that you will be met with friendly faces and helpful service. We are only a small yard, but we aim to bring you a sizeable variety at competitive prices. We've been working on building our level of products since October of 2012, and believe that we have raised the bar on the level of quality in gardening products in the Darwin area. We've created new products at our yard such as the garden blend and manure blend,, experimented to bring you the best ingredients in our potting mix, and sourced landscaping rocks and material from all over Darwin so that we can offer you great choice and flexibility. Our yard is located in Humpty Doo on the Arnhem Highway - opposite the hardware and right next to the Puma Service Station. Come on in to check out our range, seek some advice, make an order or pick up your material with a ute or trailer. We have a front gate and a second back gate for exiting, so you can be confident coming in with your trailer no worries (in case you are nervous about reversing!). Our loader has a range of bucket sizes, with the minimum purchase charge being half a cubic metre. This amount will sit nicely in most trailers or utes, or fit a bit more if you have excellent springs or dual axle! There's always someone here during our opening hours - but sometimes we might not have all the products you want in stock. // ANZAC WEEKEND TRADING //

In observance of ANZAC Day, Rural Garden Supplies Humpty Doo will be closed this coming Saturday 25th April and Sunday 26th April. We will return to our normal operating hours on Monday, April 27th.

We still have a few delivery slots available for Friday, April 24th. Please place your bookings early to ensure you don't miss out.

We will be open on Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th for all your landscaping needs.
We will be closed on Monday the 26th for the Australia Day public holiday.
We will resume our normal trading hours on Tuesday the 27th.

// CHRISTMAS TRADING HOURS //

Wow, what a year it has been! This would not be possible without the amazing support from our Darwin and Rural Communities.

The yard will be closed from Monday 22 December 2025 and reopen on Monday 5 January 2026.
Our last deliveries will be Saturday 20 December and the yard will be open for any last minute supplies on Sunday 21 December. There will be no trucks doing deliveries on the Sunday.

Wishing all of our customers a safe and Happy festive season and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

// IMPORTANT NOTICE //

As it looks like cyclone Fina is tracking towards Darwin within the coming days we are modifying our opening hours to keep our customers and staff safe.

⛈️Thursday 20 November will be our last day for deliveries
💨Friday 21 November - the yard will be open until 12 Midday. If conditions become unsafe before then the yard will shut earlier.
🌪️Saturday & Sunday 22 & 23 November - the yard will be CLOSED

We will post updates for opening hours for Monday once FINA has moved on and it is safe for us to re-open.

We will be open on Saturday and Sunday for our normal trading hours. We will be closed on the Monday for the Public Holiday and reopening on Tuesday for our normal trading times.
Get your deliveries in quick for the long weekend as bookings are filling up fast.

We are closed for the Public Holiday on Friday, but we will be back to our normal opening hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Why not make the most of this glorious dry season and get out into the garden this weekend.
Delivery spaces still available for Thursday and Saturday so don't leave it to the last minute - get in quick to secure your spot!

We are open for our normal trading hours on Saturday and Sunday, but we will be closed on Monday for the Public Holiday.

Feel like getting out into the garden this weekend and pottering around while you enjoy these cool dry season days - why not book in a delivery! There are still some spaces free on Saturday!
