Mario and I love to walk around the lake with our Fur Baby, Dino and yesterday, we found this amazing plant that closes when you touch it. It is technically a w**d called Mimosa Pudica, and it has a beautiful pink flower... But it you touch it, it disappears. Very Cool! Have a read below to learn more about it! 😊

Known also as tickle-me plant, touch-me-not, shy plant, humble plant and sleeping grass, this w**d has intrigued naturalists for hundreds of years.

Warning…. It’s lawn grub season!

Recent heat has brought the lawn grubs out in force this year and early detection and treatment are vital to maintain your lawn in good condition!

Here are 2 ways to see if they have made it to your lawn:
1. Lay a wet, white towel on your lawn overnight. In the morning when you lift it up you will see if any grubs have come to the service.

2. Mix up a bucket of soapy water and pour it over the edge of an affected area. Keep an eye out and after about 10 minutes if there is grubs, they will usually start to make their way to the surface.
