Weather damaged verandah repair.

With limited time and resources (painters had started and the profile of the old floor boards needing to come directly from the mill @ close to $10.00L/m) it was suggested to use Merbau as it’s the closest match to the old profile, running 2 boards the full length of the verandah breaking up the different widths. It will be painted stopping the bleeding Merbau does when exposed to the elements and help prevent shrinkage, hence laying them with no gap as they’ve been done.
Gave it a quick jack and pack which once the memory has gone from the old bearers will be re done.

Lads have kept themselves busy this past few weeks.
Re stump at Tingha, tiling a bathroom, replaced the capping on a tile roof and a slab pour.
