Couple of truckloads of steel heading out this morning.
160 strainers and 63 lengths of rail delivered to a job at Delungra and 50 x 150nb strainers and a sling of rail loaded to head to Bundarra, on Monday…….looking forward to seeing these bad boys in the ground with rail between them.

Some days you have to let the “Pride and Perfection” quietly out the side door and go with the “That’s the best I’ve got”!!!!!!
Seriously seriously rocky, to the point I can’t drive maxi posts anymore as my arms are too sore from the rattle and vibration of the picket driver…….getting them in 100mm and finishing them with the bobcat driver

Been a full on few weeks.
Knocked out 8.9km of exclusion fence in 3 weeks to help protect cropping country from feral pressure.
First time I have used Waratah Fencing 12/115/15 stocksafe T mesh, creating a shorter exclusion targeting mainly feral pigs.
Add a couple of barbs above it to get to a finished height of 1.5m and it stops a few hoppers as well.
All 2.4m Maxy posts added some headaches in the harder going, but the client wanted a fence that will still be standing strong when he retires and his kids take over.

Thanks to the boys for pumping this one out so efficiently, kept me on the hop!

Well that’s certainly not something you see everyday! Drilled right through the rock and it picked up on the auger. Was another big sheet of rock underneath it as well.
