Happy Cordillera Foundation Day to all!

In 1987, Executive Order 220 brought together Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, the previously joint provinces of Kalinga-Apayao, Mt. Province, and the chartered city of Baguio to form the Cordillera Administrative Region. This was to prepare us for regional autonomy, an opportunity only granted to one other region.

36 years since, we continue to beat the gongs that call for the realization of a dream for which many lives were sacrificed. Today, we invite all to join the clamor for .

Let us take hold of the opportunity to develop the region according to our unique culture, needs, and priorities, before this opportunity is taken away. Secure our regional identity as the Cordilleras and say .
