A couple easier builds before more besser blockwork coming up.

Brick reno and the pool fountain is getting tiled. The builder has blue boarded over the voids so tiles are solid. 👍

Finished off this rebuild yesterday. My recent videos coincide with these photos.

Previous brickies only corefilled the top course to give the illusion the wall was all solid.

The Back wall rebuild in that 20 meter section only had 8 starter bars installed and hit and miss on horizontal reo.
The front wall was similar but with abit more concrete in the cores. However I was able to break with my hands which suggests very weak MPA.

To somewhat rescue the front wall as it lacked starter bars I decide to use a long drill bit to drilled all the way through into the footing. For sections that were difficult to apply chemset I drilled a 12mm hole for a y12 reo starter bars and jackhammered the rod through to lock it into the footing. Refer to a video I previously posted.

There are ways these walls need to be constructed otherwise its money down the drain. 👍

Some parts that had concrete in the core, I drilled through into the footing. Blasted chemset into the hole and jackhammered the bars in. Worked a treat. Was a long day.

I wouldnt really call it concrete. I was able to break some pieces up with my hands. 🤦 One of the clients popped out to have a look and she was so appreciative how Ive handled this job. I just feel for people who trust tradies to do a good honest job and they do this type of workmanship and dissapear. No consideration at all.

This will be my last clip in regards to this build. When im done ill post all the photos. Im definitely embracing that dad bod 🤦🤣.

Just a couple litte jobs to finish off the week.
There is a really nasty hole next to the exit ramp at the caltex servo on oxley road. Note: Take that exit very wide next time because it exploded my tyre and buckled the inside of the trailer rim. 😬
