Very proud to be the first league to embrace that the carnival is held during NAIDOC week and our players were so proud to don them.

Thanks to City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Bega Garnbirringu Health Service and JR Turner Cabinets for the support they gave to make this happen.

Victor Smith from Boulder City Football Club designed the jumpers and we will post a bit more about them again over the weekend but the full story behind them was also published when we played our GFL AllStars Indigenous v GFL Gold AllStars in May and first wore them.

GFL Indigenous Rep Jumper launched designed by Victor Smith, GFL Player and Indigenous Leader. We believe we are the first league in WA to have an Indigenous rep jumper.

We are so proud to launch this today, during round with our WAFL festival of footy. Please read the story behind it and we hope it will mean as much to our football community as it will to the players who wear it.

Well Kev obviously didn’t get punished enough on Sunday as JR Turner Cabinets has just started the bidding of $250 to get to dye Kevins hair purple to raise funds for tonight’s Kalgoorlie Starlight Fundraising Events. That will get it sprayed purple tonight, but we need to hit $1000 to make it permanent.

So if you want to see this Die hard Eagles Fan die his hair Dockers purple, we need to get to $1000 before the end of tonights event and he will have to permanently die it tomorrow and can’t just shave it off. He has to let it wash out 🤣💜💜
