The current owners took over in 1988 and the doors permanently closed on 8th of May 2026 due to their retirement.

Good evening Folks,

An update on our final day of business.
We are CLOSING tomorrow (Friday 8th of May) at 3pm.

All stock is now 40% OFF the marked price.

We’d like to say a MASSIVE Thank you for the many decades of support the local community has given us.
It’s been a very long haul and we’ve enjoyed most of it ;)
The wonderful staff, the suppliers, the lovely regulars and all the newbies that have graced our nursery, we appreciate you, we wouldn’t have made it this far without you all.

And for those who love to gossip, the true story of why we are closing. The current owners are retiring, they deserve it after 38 years of ownership.

There’s some interesting stories floating around, we’ve had a good laugh about those over the past month.

Maybe in the near future we will write up a little story about our family and our time here at Theo’s.

Until then, goodnight. See you in the A.M. one last time tomorrow.
