🌱Another Turf Transformation Completed!🌱
I recently finished a full turf installation for a client, and I wanted to share the process I use on every job to make sure the lawn gets the absolute best start possible.
Here’s what goes into my turfing projects — it’s more than just laying grass:
🔹 Thorough Site Prep
I start by cleaning the entire area, removing excess rocks, broken concrete, dead weeds, old grass and anything else that could affect the lawn’s health or level.
🔹 Gypsum Application
Gypsum helps break up heavy or compacted soils, improving drainage and root pe*******on.
🔹 Soil Conditioning – Eon Bio + Yates Organic Dynamic Lifter
Before any soil goes down, I apply Eon Bio (beneficial microbes) and Yates Dynamic Lifter (organic nutrients) to help kickstart soil biology and create a healthier foundation for new turf.
🔹 Quality Underturf Soil
I bring in a high-quality underturf mix to level the area and create the ideal growing media for the roots to take off.
🔹 More Eon Bio + Dynamic Lifter
A second application ensures the soil is rich, biologically active and nutrient-ready from top to bottom.
🔹 Turf Laid, Rolled & Edged
I lay the turf carefully, roll it in for maximum soil contact, then trim all edges with a lawn edger for a clean, professional finish.
🔹 Final Treatments
To give the new lawn the best protection and growth boost:

• IrriGate (soil surfactant) – helps water soak in evenly
• KelpXtra – stimulates strong early root growth
