15mm of rain in the last 24 hours is certainly welcome here in the Central WA Wheatbelt.
And it means of course that you'll be eager to get out into your Wheatbelt gardens this weekend and plant some of our lovely Wheatbelt Native Gardens tubestock !
Even though it's forecast to be just 1 degree at 7.00am tommorrow morning, I will as always fling open the back gate at 8.00am for weekend retail sales and do the same on Sunday.
The diversity of species on offer continues to be highly varied and here's just a selection.
No, this is NOT everything on offer, it's just a selection;
𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐬 - nice fresh laxiflora & hamata, plus a smorgasbord incl. fulgens, fulgens sub.steedmanii and a selection in super tubes too.
𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐬 - just a total smorgasbord as always here.
𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 - numbers are good for stenophylla, denticulata, saxicola. Some others here.
𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐬 - some cracking denticulosa sandpaper wattles on offer, plus redolens, acuaria and more.
𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐬 - orthorrhyncha and laurina in small numbers. Minyma also.
𝐄𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐬 - Lots of variety here including campaspe, york gums, salmon gums, erythronema, stoatei, krusena, caesia, sargentii sub.onesis, formanii, gross, tenera, stricklandii and more.
Orders still welcome with availability for specific species at August maximum currently.
