POSITION/S VACANT
We are looking for our next team member!!
Hours/Days?
Casual Position 1-2 days per week - amount of days and hours may be negotiable - lets be real if you are a great employee you may get more hours IF you want them.
We are happy to chat about early starts with early finishes, school hours, longer days but less days - we are open to ideas that best provide a work/life balance for the whole team!
What would you be doing?
We don't sugar coat things here - you would be driving the forklift and bobcat, loading the little truck (car license required) and doing deliveries around town, and most importantly REGULARLY unpacking and restacking 20kg bags and providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service.
When we say regularly - EVERY day you would need to be physically strong/fit enough to be refreshing stock in the barn. It will be broken up between working with the epic team that we have and providing our amazing customers with any assistance also to break things up a bit.
Oh and there is dust, and dirt and no airconditioning - so if you don't like to break a nail, again probably not for you.
Who would be great at this job?
Maybe??
someone who has their own block of land and just wants a day or two off farm income?
someone that on their days off from shift wants some extra $$
someone with a great work ethic that is keen to get some new skills and hang out with some great team members
Also great opportunity to get into rural merchandising !
Who would be your boss?
Well the owner/manager is a female pocket rocket and so is the 2IC - so if you can't take instructions from them you probably shouldn't apply
TIPS to get the job
Do's
Do drop in or email your resume
Turn up neat and tidy when requested in person
Do know what manners are
Do know how to talk to people
Do make sure you have bathed that day and used deoderant
Do turn up on time for an interview
Do have experience in operating the forklift & bobcat - not just a ticket from a Kelloggs packet (experience overrides tickets)
Do be prepared to work but also have some fun
Do READ your resume before sending it
Don'ts
Wear Crocs..... ever and especially when you are coming for an interview
Don't come in stinking of bad body odour
Don't come in like you've just crawled out of bed and it was an effort
Don't come in complaining about your current/previous boss
Don't come in with torn/dirty clothes
Don't send a resume that you have used for someone else and you haven't changed the name
Don't lie about what you can do/your qualifications (we are findioutiologists - we WILL find out!)
Don't be the one that the middle aged girls can outwork you over and over
