Fargesia Fortune are commonly known as Fountain Bamboo. Fortune has a vertical pattern of growth with the new culms emerging with a white powdery coating. It makes an excellent screening plant and is an ideal hedge.
Fargesia Fortune is a non-invasive variety of bamboo and highly suited to the home garden or any size.
Able to withstand cold windy winters and full sun to part shade making them perfect for most of Victoria.
Fargesia bamboo thrives in rich organic soils and is fairly drought tolerant once it has got established.
Fargesia Fortune can grow to a height of 4m and a width of 2m.
