Here's a couple of Dampers fitted to the chimneys of Southern Tasmania thanks to Murray Chimney Dampers & Cowls for providing the goods. Both were to stop rain coming down the chimney when not in use but one client wanted to stop the flies in summer coming down the chimney. Hello Everyone, a long time between posts, it's been a busy few months, just thought id show you a few I've attended in the last couple of weeks, the Brick chimney disintegrated at the top as it caught on fire and the fire service had to come and put it out. I went the following day and fully cleaned it and made it safe for the owner who showed me photos of an inferno of flames metres above the chimney, very scary indeed. Also I've been attending alot that weren't too far from catching on fire. Hope Every is staying safe and warm and feel free to call me if you need anything done 0439393365

How's everyone's winter been?
Thank you to all my clients for the work you've given me,very appreciative and hope you've all had a safe and warm winter. Just a couple of badly blocked ones last week, one was a woodheated sauna at an air bnb that was completely blocked and another one at a long term clients house that had been burning long and low and when I tested the moisture content of their wood it read between %20-%30 moisture rating so a good reminder to try and get good dry wood and burn your heater as hot as possible at least once a week for a few hours 👌 if anyone is thinking they or someone they know might need my services call or text on 0439393365 😊

A big day at Mt Field National Park doing heater checks and flue cleaning on all the government huts at the base of Mt Field. Managed to get a bit more life out of these seriously old heaters. Plenty of snow on the ground around the huts but none on the roofs fortunately
