Terms and Conditions.
Conditions & Approval.
The Customers approval of this estimate means that they have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions listed herein.
This is a budget estimate only based on limited information from phone conversation etc; and price is subject to change after onsite inspection. If the Customer requires a firm price quotation, a call out fee ($99) is applicable and refunded to Customer if Mike Wootton Electrical Contractor wins the bid.
If this estimate/quotation meets your approval, please supply a work order with a discrete work order number, referencing this estimate/quotation number.
If a work order is not possible, your approval will be accepted when you reply via email or SMS stating this estimate/quotation number and your statement of approval for works to begin.
Mike Wootton Electrical Contractor shall have sole discretion whether or not to begin works listed in this estimate/quotation and shall not be liable for any loss claimed by the Customer due to works not undertaken.
Price/Payment/Orders.
Unless otherwise agreed to in this invoice, payment is due upon receipt of the final invoice.
Preferred payment method is by credit/debit card using the online invoice link 'Pay Now' button. Other payment options available upon request.
Unless otherwise stated on this estimate (by the inclusion of the word/s quotation, firm bid, fixed price or similar), the price is subject to change due to reasonably unforeseen circumstances such as discovery of non-compliant electrical installation.
If there is likely to be an increase in price after works have begun, due to discovery of factors affecting electrical safety, the Customer shall be notified as soon as practicable. The Customer shall agree in writing to the price change, or request the works to cease, in which case Mike Wootton Electrical Contractor will 'make safe' the electrical work and charge the Customer for parts and labour already expended.
Any parts or materials to be ordered in excess of $500 shall be paid for by the Customer before works begin or continue (invoice will be supplied).
Any increase in cost of parts or materials before the expiration date of this estimate shall be borne by the Customer.
Liability and Limitation.
Although due care and attention is taken, damage can occur when working with electrical installations and equipment, such as breakages attributed to deteriorated electrical and mechanical equipment. Mike Wootton Electrical Contractor shall not be liable for such damage but is dedicated to providing cost effective solutions for the Customer when such events occur, with electrical safety at the forefront of every decision.
Unless otherwise stated on this estimate/quotation, remedial works to ground, lawns, pathways, any building structure, plaster board, painting, tiling, flooring, concrete, wall/roof covering or any other trade or service; the costs to reinstate or repair of such works that are associated with the electrical works listed herein, are the responsibility of the Customer.
