Had a special apprentice with me today.

Young Maddie, a chocolate Labrador therapy dog, joined me on the road for the day.

She wasn't much help measuring blinds, couldn't operate a drill, and her paperwork was questionable, but her customer service was outstanding.

We travelled from Kojonup to Manjimup and back again, met some wonderful people, and somehow managed to get all the jobs done.

The Blindman and a therapy dog made quite the team. Everyone was far too polite to point out the obvious comedy in the arrangement.

Payment negotiations were difficult, though. Maddie refused cash, wouldn't accept bank transfer, and insisted on being paid exclusively in carrots.

To be fair, she earned every one of them. 🥕🐕‍🦺😄
