Rare Grafted Thornless Roses & Exciting School Holiday Workshop!

We are so excited to introduce our latest showstopper: Grafted Thornless Roses! These are a rare, limited-number arrival that bring beauty without the bite.

Colors: Choose from vibrant yellow, red, various shades of pink, pink/apricot, and soft apricot.
Not only are they completely thornless, but they are also wonderfully fragrant.

Children’s Grevillea Workshop
Join us for our first-ever school holiday workshop! We’ll explore the fascinating world of native Grevilleas, discovering why they are so vital for our environment and how to care for them.
Create & Take Home: Kids will enjoy an expertly guided painting session to create their own Grevillea canvas art. Plus, every child takes home a beautiful, budding Grevillea ‘Lana Meree’ to watch bloom in their own backyard!

🎉 Great news — we have them back in stock!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had to tell so many of our lovely customers that these had sold out and that I would bring more in as soon as I could.

Well, the wait is over!

🔴 Grafted Red Centre Lime –
Grafted - only $45 each

One of Australia’s most fascinating citrus varieties, Red Centre Lime combines Australian native Finger Lime heritage with a unique flavour and appearance unlike any other citrus.

The real surprise comes when you cut the fruit open. At first, the flesh looks fairly ordinary. Leave it exposed to the air for a few moments and watch the magic happen — the centre gradually develops its beautiful red colouring, revealing the stunning “red centre” that gives this citrus its name.

Our current stock are grafted plants, with many already covered in flowers and carrying small fruit, giving you a head start on your citrus-growing journey.

We’re also pleased to have restocked our popular range of grafted dwarf citrus, including lemons, limes, oranges and mandarins, all priced at just $35 each.

With the cost of living and everything feeling a little uncertain lately, gardening seems to be quietly becoming therapy for a lot of people 🌿

And now the sun is finally coming out again, it feels like the perfect time to get back into the garden ☀️

Fresh air, a slower mind, something green and living to care for… and sometimes something edible too (if the possums don’t get there first 🍋🫐)

At Narangba Nursery – Zephyr Forest, we grow and stock a wide mix — from Australian natives in all sizes, including beautiful Grevillea that attract birds and pollinators, to edible plants, bush tucker varieties, tropicals, and a selection of rarer collector plants for those who enjoy finding something a little out of the ordinary ✨

Most of our plants are priced very competitively because we believe gardening should stay accessible and enjoyable for everyone — while still offering a few special pieces for the true plant lovers and collectors.

They’ve arrived — and this time, it’s not the usual.

The nursery is filled with cactus and succulents in every form — soft rosettes, sculptural shapes, spiky characters and architectural statement pieces.

Among them, two true collector plants.

White flowering Bombax ellipticum — white blooms with a soft blush of pink, forming those incredible shaving-brush flowers when in season. This lighter form is far less common than the typical red varieties and rarely available in regular nursery supply.

🌸 $35 each

And the striking Alluaudia decaryi, often called the “Demonic Decaryi.”
Native to Madagascar, slow growing and architectural, it’s not a plant you commonly see — especially at an established height of 1.2–1.5 metres. A rare collector succulent with real presence.

🌵 $59 each

Not everyday plants.
Not easy to replace.

You’ll remember the first fruit.

First mango you slice up in your own kitchen.
First lychee you get to before the birds do.
First custard apple that finally opens up perfectly in your hands.

Fruit trees just take time…
then one day they start giving it all back.

That’s why we mainly stock grafted or air-layered plants — they’re already a step ahead, so you’re not waiting years wondering if it will happen.

🌿 This week at the nursery:

A good range of mangoes just in — King Thai, Nam Doc Mai, Bambaroo, Alphonso — all grafted at $59.

We also have air-layered lychee, grafted custard apple ($80), grafted persimmon ($65), and soursop seedlings (2-year-old, $40).

Dwarf fruit trees are back too — lemon, orange, mandarin, lime ($35 each), along with dwarf Anna apple ($45) and Sunshine Blue blueberries ($7). Plus a few other fruiting varieties in store.

Some varieties are limited stock, and once they’re gone, they may not be back for a while.

Not just plants really.
More like things you’ll be eating from later on.

🌱 And there’s more waiting in-store — natives, bush tucker plants, and indoor greenery that can completely change a space. Always something new to wander through.
