Three projects entered. Three awards received.

We were honoured to be recognised at the Master Painters Awards for Excellence, receiving:

• Award for Excellence – Decorative Finishes (Domestic Under $30,000)
• Award for Excellence – Heritage Restoration (Domestic Under $100,000)
• High Distinction – Heritage Restoration (Domestic Under $100,000)

Adding to the celebrations, our apprentice Keegan was named Runner-up Apprentice of the Year (4th Year).

Seeing Keegan recognised alongside the success of our project entries was one of the highlights of the evening and a reflection of the dedication, craftsmanship and professionalism he brings to the trade.

Thank you to our team, clients and industry partners who trusted us with these projects and helped make this recognition possible.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.

Finalist — Master Painters Awards 2025
Heritage Restoration

This 1903 Victorian weatherboard restoration in Kyneton was never about a quick repaint, it was about respecting the home properly and restoring it the right way.

Extensive grinding and sanding returned large sections back to bare timber, allowing underlying issues to be addressed before a single finish coat went on. Multiple preparation stages, oil undercoats, detailed filling and careful refinement of the original surfaces all formed part of the process.

The final result balances heritage character with long term durability, protecting the home while preserving the detail that makes these old buildings special.

Projects like this are a reminder that painting heritage homes properly is as much restoration as it is decoration.

St Agnes Accommodation — Circa 1830s.

A heritage interior repaint and decorative finishes project completed within the historic St Agnes estate in Kyneton.

Wallpaper installation, custom timber staining and traditional application methods were used throughout to preserve the character of the building while creating a refined boutique guest experience.

Craigielea Hill Station Estate — Circa 1875.

A heritage interior repaint balancing historic character with a bold contemporary palette throughout.

Extensive preparation, traditional cut-and-roll application methods, and meticulous attention to detail formed the foundation of this project.
