A little weekend transformation in preparation for a new kitchen up in Slacks Creek, I'm stoked for the owners who are starting to see some progress after months of obstacles & dramas!

Awesome work to the couple in preparing everything so well, enabling us to sheet and set it promptly.

Definitely a tedious job for many reasons, but so rewarding to see the results 👌🏽

A little transformation job in Currumbin from garage to living space for Diamond Decks & Patios

- Mostly Sheeted prior to commencement, however lined a few sheets, including bonded walls and cement sheet
- Bead installation
- Set
- Corniced
- Sanded
And sorry for the poor image quality, but blew off the dusty surface before taking photo's, now ready for paint though!

Also thanks to the Father in Law for assisting, otherwise I'd still be working Christmas day!

A delightful renovation job transformation from timber setting to a slick plaster finish (especially due to 2 lovely home owners), with various plasterwork incorporated to produce a result that was simple but still tied in with the existing house appearance.
- Ceiling battened (and levelled, quite a fair bit to do there)
- Sheeted/Lined according to an existing garage surface (on a difficult slope)
- Beaded & set relative to room layout, with various methods used
- Sand, cornice, clean surface and room ready for paint
Credits to the owners for the song choice, definitely my Aussie anthem!

A not so little re-sheet and set job to hide the deteriorating walls, not so pleasant wallpaper & glue daubs from the previous timber panels in an older Newstead home.

Tearaway usrd around picture rail, skirting & architraves as shadowline wasn't feasible.

PS, don't mind the mess, I was instructed to leave it that way 😅

Just a little 'touch up' over a couple of afternoons to a return client, which is quite a humbling feeling.

- Battened & checked for level
- Double layered sound insulation installed (greatly reducing the thuds from the stairwell & toilet flushing above)
- Sheeted
- Set, with various patches attended to
- Corniced, over brick walls also
- Sanded (every wall to smooth surface and match textures)

On a side note, how satisfying is a sharp looking cornice mitre!?

An extension I completed exactly a year ago to the day (just in time for the New Year).
The two major highlights for me being that;
1. I got the son onto the tools with me 💙
2. It was literally only 13 houses down from home 👌🏽
