The planting around “The Gathering Space” that we designed a few years back is really starting to take shape.

Working closely with George Town Council and representatives of the local and Tasmanian Aboriginal communities, we created a place that brings together the life long Tasmanian Aboriginal and European cultures of gathering for festivities and special events. Based on the actual size and profile of the Lee Enfield 303 rifle, this handrail was designed for a World War One memorial in Ipswich back in 2002. We are pleased to say the design was very well received by the community.
