our plant isnโ€™t dyingโ€ฆ itโ€™s communicating ๐ŸŒฑ

Droopy leaves? Itโ€™s thirsty.
Burnt tips? Too much sun.
Yellowing or mushrooms? You might be loving it a little too much.

Plants donโ€™t use words โ€” they use signals.
The real question isโ€ฆ are you listening? ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿ‘‰ Which of these signs have you seen on your plants recently?

This load is over 6ft tall. The path to the trailer entails stairs, a skinny gate, a small jump up onto the drive and down a steep hill to the street. Multiple trips and not a drop. Where would I be without my trusty wheelbarrow ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Hello Northern Rivers community. Just want to let you all know that due to high demand and business growth as of the 1st of December my prices will increase to the following.

Free estimates, I do not quote. Quotes are a fixed price, I simply tell you how long I think it will take. I am often redoing the work of others and I don't know how they have slapped it together. Way to many variables to give a fixed price. I once mowed a lawn and it was full of car parts, anvails, vices and other industrial rubbish. Time is money, money is time. If you want to make jobs cheaper organise the work site prior to my arrival. Mow frequently and keep the areas clear of rubbish and obstacles. I'm most valuable when my equipment is running, not when I'm picking up after you. Which I'm happy to do but if money is your concern that's how you get bang for your buck.

$1 per minute, 90 minute job is $90
$500 per block of 10 hours

1 way travel anywhere further than 30 minutes from 21 Centenary Drive G'bah

Materials paid up front, if I am involved in providing materials I record the time taken to measure, get prices etc and charge time taken or 10 percent of cost of materials whichever is less.

Tip fees are at cost price, time taken is regarded as labour. I like to do this at the end of a job if possible, the clock stops once its paid at the weighbridge meaning time covered to line up to be weighed, unload, line up to pay are all covered. I can haul 1000kg.

We arrive 6.50am clock starts at 7am this gives us time to set up, meet with the client, discuss any changes to what was originally discussed during the free estimate with the freedom of neither of us worrying about the clock. Legally we can't start power tools until 7am anyways.

As always my intention isn't to milk the clock, client satisfaction has always and will always be more valuable.

To those that have booked me in prior to this message, you will be charged the old price of $50 per hour, $400 for a block of 10 hours. That is what was promised, and that is what you will get.

Why the increase?

Short answer:
I now have an offsider so readjustments are needed.

Long answer:
I'm done redoing tradesman's work that was carried out to an agreed price so they slapped it up cutting corners left right and even centre with zero accountability. Everyone knows if you want to make more charge by the job not by the clock. I refuse to have that mindset. I'll take as long as is required to do it to a safe standard. If there is a budget let me know so I'm less thorough on things that are safe to do so. Not things like installing security windows, seriously wtf!! I'm done working 100 hours a week on minimum wage being left exhausted, broke and strung out. The cost of living is insane!!! I'm done witnessing other people charge more with less equipment, work ethics, and experience. I am done transporting large loads amongst dangerous drivers risking both of our safety. That gap between me and the car in front is my breaking distance dont use it to leap frog traffic, its incredibly dangerous to both of us, if i need to insall a bullbar I will, rather not. As for those flashy things they are called indicators, they indicate that you are about to change trajectory and speed if you are already turning or breaking don't bother you're already a dangerous driver, you are also why I have cameras installed. Make no mistake I will sue dangerous drivers if you cause an accident trying to save 2 seconds. Hopefully they impound your vehicle as you dont belong on the roads!! I'm done with roundabouts blocking my view of other drivers, you cut down 89 percent of the big scrub planting a tree in the middle of the road ain't the solution. ๐Ÿ™„ I'm done with limited parking space for trailers, cars without trailers parking in trailer bays, clients being unable to communicate properly. I see others getting around with dangerous and illegal loads, probably due to the limited parking spaces for trailers, people mowing and not cleaning the mower between lawns spreading weeds from ar****le to breakfast. I have seen it all and I hold myself to a higher standard and currently doing it for cheaper than the competition.

I do things by the book, by code and stand by my work. As I have said since day 1, 6 years ago if something goes wrong with the work I provide due to craftsmanship I return and fix it at no cost. For the record I have never had to return. I am insured with public liability.

I put majority of my money into my business to aquire the very best set up to enable the very best service that can be offered. I sleep in my car, I don't drink, or smoke. So I don't have bills it literally goes into the business. I eat clean from bulk foods, farmers markets and butchers. Use health professionals such as Osteopaths, Massage Therapist, Naturopaths, Nutritionists along with my qualifications as a Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer all ensures recovery, and preformance is optimised in a safe manner. I only get my equipment serviced by the dealership. There is easily over $50k worth of tools and equipment that I offer along with experience in many trades. These include qualifications in Advanced Rigging, CN Crane, HR licence, Advanced Scaffolding, Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer, I will also soon be studying to become an Arborist. I have subcontracted to painters, carpenters, roof plumbers. I'm a 2nd year brick layer. Landed electrical apprenticeship (top 10 percent of 100 applicants), worked in demolition, plastering, paving, removalist, heck even worked on the boats, experience operating cranes, bulldozers, excavators, trucks, tractors, forklifts, rollers. This is all on the back of growing up as a farmers son where school was the holiday, holidays were the school. If you know you know ;)

I'm not cheap, I'm valuable. Want quality, pay quality. It's either that or I'll enjoy my Xmas ๐Ÿ˜…

All jobs will be invoiced and payable within 3 days. If payment is not paid in full I go to the debt collector. So make sure you got the $$$ we are all desperate it doesn't excuse thievery especially of those of us that put our mind body and soul into our work.

Thanks for your time reading this. Hope to see you soon.

To my clients and locals that do the right thing sincerly thank you! There are many great people in this community and you are the reason why I continue to provide my services. You are all legends!!!

Getting spoilt by my clients at lunch time today. Such a great day today!! Went to Ballina and it was perfect! People were cautious and considerate on the road, Johns mowers and the Ballina tip provided first class service, people were blowing out each other's trailers and helping each other reverse. To top it all off yesterday's client gave me a recommendation! Which led to which led to some more work! I'm so busy now I seriously need to take someone on. Great day and thank you to all involved.

Be the change! Don't ask yourself what someone can do for you, but rather what you can do for someone. Best day in a long time, sincerely thank you!!!
