Since completing his apprenticeship last year and being nominated for the HIA Apprentice of the Year Award, Luke has now moved to the office as a CRM/IT Trainee! He is to be commended on his efforts with learning a new skillset during such a busy time of year. Today we said see you later to one of our OG staff members 😭 Joel recently reached his 10 year milestone and has decided to pursue a career change. Although we are SO sad to see him leave we know he will do amazing things wherever he goes and we are so proud of him! Meet Lindie! Lindie is a web application developer with over 15 years industry experience in all facets of web development and the software development life-cycle. We are lucky to have her skill and knowledge in our team as our in house IT programmer, which is vital in the maintenance and development of our proprietary software, keeping us ahead of the game. The factory has been abuzz over the last few weeks with the sad goodbye to good ol' Stratus Pro "Bluey" CNC, in the name of expansion and modernisation. However, we are excited to be bringing in not one, but two new SCM Morbidelli CNC machines to streamline workflow and increase productivity!

These new machines include extra safety features which is our number 1 priority, and will allow our team to efficiently increase the amount of board throughput and help us expand on our current product offerings.

We'll be bringing more updates to you over the next few months as we work on further exciting projects.

Meet Daniel! Daniel has just started his apprenticeship with us and is already proving to be on his way to not only successfully complete his apprenticeship, but to become an outstanding tradesman. We recently held our monthly team meeting where votes are submitted for a "Peer Recognition Award" where Daniel received 8 votes from his peers, making it the most votes for 1 person we've ever had. Keep up the great work Daniel!

Congratulations to Joel for reaching the milestone of his 10 year anniversary with Cabinets Online! Joel started with us in a machinist/factory hand role, consistently showing his work ethic and value, progressing to the commencement and completion of his cabinet making apprenticeship. It wasn't long after the completion of his trade that he became foreman, before a change in position relocating him to the office as a CRM/IT Production Assistant. Once again, he proved himself in this position and was promoted to supervisor.

We are now proud to announce his recent promotion, as the Set Out Manager.

Joel, the commitment you have shown every person who has come through our doors speaks volumes to the kind of person you are. We all appreciate the level of care you put into your work, staff and clients. Thank you for being such an integral part of the companies success!

Congratulations to Jolan who has officially been promoted to orange shirt supervisor status! Jolan is one of the hardest workers who has come through our doors, as is evident by the sign he proudly displays showing he has not had a sick day in 690 days! (691 by the time you see this post 😉). Jolan has been with us for 6 years and has become such a big part of the heart and culture here at Cabinets Online. He is considerate of everyone around him and always the first to put up his hand to help out. Jolan is an all round outstanding man who very much deserves his new role, well done Jolan!
