Sometimes all you need is an upgrade.
At this Upper Coomera property we were called in to renovate the main bathroom, ensuite, laundry, toilet and make some alterations to the kitchen.
Our client felt a bit uninspired by these rooms and decided it was time to change, and just in time. Although on the outside both bathrooms looked to be in good condition, both had leaking showers and had caused the framing to rot. We were lucky to catch it before it became a more serious issue and repaired it accordingly.

Every job for us is different and were happy to work through out of the ordinary situations to get the best results.
This old deck on this pontoon had seen its day after years of living in the harsh environment of salt and sun. The decking on top was severely weathered and everything supporting it had rotten away to nothing.
We removed the old decking and replaced all of the joists below with aluminium fixed in place with Stainless Steel dyna bolts, all new pre oiled Merbau decking fixed with 504 Stainless Steel screws. The decking was then coated with Intergrain UltraDeck.
With this combination of materials used and maintaining the UlraDeck coating this deck will look good for many years to come.

WE NOW HAVE A BATHROOM DISPLAY!!
This is a very long overdue post as we finalised work on our display bathroom in January. In an effort to prove the quality of our work to prospective clients, and to literally put our money where our mouth is we have built a display bathroom.
The key points of doing so were to....
➡️ Show the standards that we pride ourselves on.
➡️ Give our clients a feel for how certain products work together.
➡️ Prove why you should be using licensed and insured builders to take on your renovation. Not just a tiler or plumber who is uninsured and unlicensed for the job.
➡️ Being able to show clients exactly how things will look in person not just in photos.

Some of the products used in our display are:
900x450 porcelain floor and wall tiles.
Solid surface/stone Fienza Bahama bath tub.
Brushed gun metal progressive mixer taps, one for each shower and bath.
Led lighting in the soap holder niche and under the vanity for a special feature.
Blackbutt wall hung vanity with stone top and concrete basin finished with a brushed gunmetal mixer and pop up waste.
Wall faced toilet with top inlet to hide all plumbing.
Lauxes tile insert floor waste in the shower.
Tiles and bath supplied by Geisha Ceramics.
Tapware by ABI Interiors
Fienza Bathware
Highgrove Bathrooms Mapei Australia

Live by the sea they said. It’ll be fun they said. Living with a beautiful bay view definitely comes with its ups and downs. It’s incredible just how much the salt spray can degrade materials. For this beachside home we removed the rotting decks and corroded windows and replaced them with new materials better suited to the conditions. The new windows have less framing and single panels with a heavier gauge glass to maximise that beautiful view. The deck was replaced with h3 treated LVL’s in a heavy coat of primer with protecta deck joist protector strips to stop water being able to pool on the timber causing it to rot. The rotting hardwood decking was replaced with Trex composite decking held down with Kleva Klips, a hidden fixing system for a long term durable finish. After all of this we couldn’t keep the old view blocking timber balustrade for the top deck so it was exchanged for Glass panels under a Merbau top rail. An amazing improvement all round with minimal maintenance in the future.

Recently I had a wonderful couple come to me, wanting a Bathroom make over. I had them over to have a look at my show Bathroom and brainstormed a few ideas. End result,
this amazing new Stylish Modern Bathroom space. Removing that boxed up claustrophobic Shower and bath tub to replace it with a spacious shower wrapped in frameless glass, accompanied by a pair of brushed gunmetal shower sets, a rustic feature wall and floor to ceiling wall tiles. And that stylish round mirror adds a perfect feature. This bathroom stands out from the rest.
