Make use of an unused space 🦋
This transformation was requested to beautify this space that was unused.
The gravel was pushed aside to make room for beautiful travertine pavers and dichondra repens planted in between them.🌱
Once this low-maintenance ground cover is colonised, it's makes for a low effort lawn which doesn't need to be mowed and is not easily damaged.
We also cleared out the drain and covered with pebbles for effective drainage and prevent flooding. 🌊
An old railway sleeper was rejuvenated and repurposed as an entryway to this little garden. 🏡

We don't hedge our bets!

This was a 20 metre long, 5 metre tall(!!!) Lilli Pillly hedge set on a slope with no access for a scissor lift or scaffolding and no stable access for a ladder!😅 It took a bit of time and a lot of elbow grease💪🏻 to do a hard cutback ✂️ of this hedge so it looked less wild and down to a more maintainable height. Once we commit to a job we don't stop till you're happy! 🙏🏻.

Massive backyard makeover 🏡⚒️
We undertook this huge job and were so pleased with the results as were our clients.
We raised the backyard by 40cms with fill and laid Sir Walter Buffalo turf for a pristine lawn. ⛳ We also planted 22 Viburnums in the surrounding garden beds that will create a lush screen against the boundary fence. 🌱
We then laid 264 oatmeal pavers to create a welcoming entertaining area for our clients. 🍾♨️🍖
This was just one part of a bigger picture that we were able to provide the clients.

Rome wasn't built in a day ⏳
Our regular client hired us to completely overhaul their garden. We agreed on a tropical 🏝️ theme and sourced plants that thrive in a wet 💧 and warm ☀️ environment.
We removed the original high maintenance hedges ✂️ and built some custom garden beds to house the new plants.
We also installed lighting in the garden beds which illuminate the whole yard and create a lush, inviting space. 🌴
We spent about 2 hours a week working consistently on this project and are so pleased with the outcome. ⭐

Going green 💚
A beautiful makeover for this front yard included removing the weeds, rocks and old mulch and re-turfing with some fresh Sir Walter Buffalo grass. ⛳
We also trimmed the bushes and added mulch to the front garden bed.
It's created simplicity and appeal to the front of this beautiful house!

This pathway was created for a client who wanted a neater and more appealing entry way to their house. 🏡
Matt took out the existing pavers and pebbles from the front and grass along the side of the house. He prepped and levelled the ground, created laid sleepers and new charcoal havenslab pavers. 🧱
Next, we pulled out the existing plants and planted Philodendron Xanadus, Star Jasmine and Dracaena. 🌱
We loved how this turned out!

Flame Tree went interstate ✈️ a couple of weeks ago to contract on a job in sunny QLD. ☀️
This job required excavating, levelling, construction, drainage, backfilling and laying turf. ⛳
We definitely exercised all our skills and really enjoyed working on this job. ⛏️

What a glow-up! This job required us to cut down trees 🪓 , remove, pressure clean 🔫 and re-lay pavers, rip up the existing grass, level the ground, lay fresh new turf and build and install garden edging 🛠️
