A well designed holding yard for live stock management must allow for better smoother animal flow which reduces stress on both cattle & handlers also, in this instance it was important to ensure it was designed to allow for easy access for machinery to manoeuvre & navigate around with ease. This client wanted 8 entry & exits points, sizeable holding area, flood gates on either side of the bridge to allow water & debris to continue to flow when water level rises.

PS- Volume on! Holy cow! Even the cows are happy with the end result! 😄

With trucks coming in & out daily the owner wanted us to design an entrance that was both functional & aesthetically pleasing. We moved the entrance further up the driveway allowing the trucks to park safely off the road whilst opening the gate then rebuilt a small section of the driveway from the road and past the gate. Drainage was formed to ensure perfect run off then topped with bluestone. New gate and post and rail fence in the classic V shape to ensure easy manoeuvrability for the truckies!

A small section of a 2km barbed wire & two droppers fence. We ensure that each dropper is central to the two posts and level by measuring the spaces and using a spirit level on each dropper.
Fence line was cleared, flattened out and tress and shrubs removed from site.
