Pete's Hobby Nursery We are a family owned and operated business specialising in Australian native plants.

​What started as Peter's side hobby in 1997 has now grown into his life's work. With a green thumb, a small team of dedicated plant enthusiasts and heaps of Queensland sunshine, Peter proudly grows hundreds of different varieties of native Australian plants in his own backyard. Although Peter's love for plants is deeply rooted, he's most passionate about discovering new species in the bush and cul

tivating them into garden plants to be enjoyed by all.

We're open Monday-Wednesday 8 am-noon, and are available during other times by phone appointment. If you'd like to arrange a guided tour of the rail trail with the plant guru himself, please call/email Pete to schedule.
