CURTAIN & BLIND SALES CONSULTANT

We are seeking a motivated showroom consultant with the ability and the desire to go above and beyond to ensure our customers receive the best knowledge and service possible.
ABOUT THE JOB
Join the team at Riverland Floor centre as a Retail Sales representative. A full-time role is available, but we are willing to negotiate part time for the best person to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales support to customers at our Loxton store. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and achieving sales.
This is not a high-pressure selling role.
*Experience within the flooring or window covering industries not essential as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
EVERYDAY TASKS AND JOBS TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Serving and assisting customers with design and colour selections of Flooring and Window Coverings for both existing & new homes
• Estimating from Construction & Real Estate plans
• Site inspection and measuring
• Calculating, Processing, & Following up quotes
• Assisting to ensure the showroom is clean and organised & all products are up to date & correctly labelled & priced
• Assisting the Sales Manager & Admin team with day-to-day tasks
FAVOURABLE SKILLS
• Interest in interior design and home renovations
• Interest & flair for colour & design
• Good communication skills & a positive outlook
• Ability to work closely within a small team
• Attention to detail
• Drivers Licence
• Telephone and basic computer skills
• Ability to get a police clearance
• Ability to get working with children check
• Strong customer service focus
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the perfect window solutions for their needs
• Demonstrating product features and benefits to customers, guiding them through the selection process
• Handling sales transactions, order processing and inventory management
• Maintaining a professional and organised retail environment
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Co-ordinating installation
• You will be interacting with customers, installers, and suppliers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service role, although not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle sales transactions accurately
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a commitment to achieving sales
• Occasional Saturday morning work required
• Drivers licence and own car
