“Be faithful to your own taste, because nothing you really like is ever out of style.” Billy Baldwin

Baldwin was an American Interior Decorator in the mid 1900s who championed personal authenticity over passing trends.

I love this concept. I really admire how an interior can reflect a family’s personality and tell their story through art, colour, collectibles and it’s vibe.

One of my favourite parts of a project is seeing a vision and concept come to life.

These are progress photos from bare frames to functioning kitchen.

It was even more exciting because it was my own kitchen!

I would have loved to have transparent walls to see the beautiful landscape all around. However, that wouldn't have been very sustainable! Instead, we added insulation to the walls to keep it warm in winter and cool in summer!

{CONCEPT} A kitchen design for a cottage in West Mackay. Some layout tweaks to the pantry access will help the overall function. Curved overhead shelves reference the original 1930s kitchen and floral feature tiles in the splashback will create a beautiful nostalgic kitchen.

Lest we Forget

It was a very special ANZAC service at the new location this morning at Seaforth. Everyone spoke so well.

The sunrise was beautiful and hearing the waves lap the sand added to the sombre atmosphere.
