Jessie’s 🐶 Sunday Slumber -
A well earned rest after a fun week of preserving a couple of blackbutt balconies. We have reinstated the bare timber by removing the naturally occurring grey fibres with our washing and sanding techniques. By applying a fungicide spray we will suppress the growth of mould and algae spore which can compromise the appearance and structural integrity of the deck. And finally we applied 2 coats 🧥 of our timber grey sealer. This technique will allow the deck to weather and silver off naturally whilst preserving its structural integrity. Another Jessie Approved Project. 🐾 🐾 🐾

Jessie 🐾 Approved Restoration in Kew. Follow the formula for merbau decking (new and old) 📐 🧑‍🏫 1. Sand to a smooth finish 2. Wash 🧼 to remove residue tannins. 3. Wash and neutralize the surface prior to coating 4. Coating with x 3️⃣ coats of a high quality sealer.

Results are “wow” 😱 and savings 💰 are realised immediately with long maintenance intervals.

Chill out Saturday arvo session 🧘. Spectacular Spotted Gum and another Jessie 🐶 🐾 approved restoration.
Removal of this solvent based coating proved difficult but well worth the hard work; the result is wow!! 🤩
Again, the winning formula of sanding, washing and coating with our high quality product leads to outstanding results. Some basic cleaning and TLC ❤️ will allow this deck to look great for many years to come and this will also ensure long maintenance free cycles👌.

Frankie and Harley are happy campers after we handed back their pad 🐶 😃.

This reclaimed 70mm merbau deck was brought back to life with the usual bag of tricks 🪄 Don’t compromise preparation and you’ll be surprised at the results.

Sanding to a smooth finish followed by 2 washes and 3 coats of our waterborne natural sealing finish 👌.

Our landscape project at Lux Way Brunswick is well underway. 🌈 🌅 All our planting will be incorporated within our lightweight ecopillows, ecogabions and vertical gardens. And our spotted gum decking has been meticulously constructed on Buzon height adjustable pedestals. 👷‍♀️🛠 Stay tuned for more updates as we sneak this project in during the winter ❄️ ☔️ months

Here is a wonderful deck build made the more brilliant as a result of correct preparation and application of our 🧽 washing 🧼 and coating 🎨 products 🏠

Here we achieved a natural look highlighting the merbau timber grain🪵 by washing out residual tannins and neutralising the timber surfaces prior to application of 3️⃣ coats of our sealer.

Make sure you fully understand the washing and sealing procedure as it will determine ongoing, maintenance costs and lengthy and costly restorations and repairs down the track!💲💲

We always recommend that you focus on understanding the restoration process before commencing your project.
