JAPAN INSPO

Beyond the incredible architecture, gardens and craftsmanship, what stayed with me most was the philosophy of wabi-sabi—finding beauty in imperfection, authenticity and the passage of time.

As designers, it’s easy to chase perfection. Flawless finishes. Perfect symmetry. The latest trends.

But walking through centuries-old temples, weathered timber, hand-crafted ceramics and peaceful gardens reminded me that the most beautiful spaces aren’t always the most perfect—they’re the ones that tell a story.

It’s a philosophy I’ll be bringing home with me.

Designing homes that feel lived in, timeless and deeply personal. Spaces with natural textures, thoughtful restraint and materials that become even more beautiful as they age.

Because great design isn’t about creating something flawless.
It’s about creating spaces that grow with you, somewhere that feels like home.

Putting together our beautiful selections for one of our current projects.

From the custom made vanity & handmade concrete top to the custom coloured Microcement walls, every little detail has been thoughtfully curated and is coming together beautifully. The stunning Taj Mahal tile sings and pulls all these elements together with harmony.

Look at this transformation!
The clients wanted to keep their existing stone bench tops & splashback, but it was time to get rid of the tired white & grey door fronts & give this baby some texture & depth.

So we levelled up this space by refacing the existing cabinetry with the stunning Florentine Walnut, new black lip pull handles, tapware & finished it off with these new luxe pendant lights & barstools.

What more could a Dark & Moody Whiskey Room ask for? From the beautiful custom made leather Chesterfield, battened walls & ceiling, the luxe textured wallpaper to the stunning custom bar cabinetry.
With every little detail, we really enjoyed ourselves creating this space.
