We are a registered building company (BC104597) with extensive industry experience. It all began with Dave Dennis, who started his working life as a carpenter in WA around 40 years ago. Shortly after, Dave developed his own carpentry business with wife Fiona and in the coming years the family grew to 7. They eventually decided to pack their bags, buy a bus and travel around their beautiful country
for several years. They were captivated by North Queensland where they ended up spending 6 years enjoying the lifestyle and cultivating their knowledge of tropical alfresco options for Australian households.
9 years ago the family returned to the west to be with extended family and set about recreating a business based in Western Australia that would allow them to use their knowledge and passion to help people create that beautiful, relaxed holiday feel in their own backyards. The team includes Dave (managing the sales and estimating), his lovely wife Fiona, who takes care of the tedious administrative duties and two hard working, friendly “tradie” sons, Corey and Tristan. Our carpentry crew Connor, Finn, Nick, Paul and Michael are friendly, respectful, polite and conscientious with their work. Corey’s wife Zoe also assists with marketing and admin. You will often find Corey & our yard assistant Mark at the display centre front desk, always willing to chat about your needs when you visit. Tristan also manages the onsite work and makes sure that the teams operate smoothly. Huts & Decks WA enjoys supporting the local community by offering work-place training for various school and TAFE students. A conscious decision has been made not to employ commission based sales people, so you can be sure that you will be speaking directly with the people who help design, build and install your project.
