21 years with you… and somehow it still feels like we’re just getting started. From the wild, carefree days to the life we’ve built now, every chapter has meant more because it’s been with you. We’ve grown, been tested, laughed until it hurt, and stood by each other through it all and I wouldn’t change a single part of our story - even the hard bits.

We’ve faced things over the past few years that could have easily pulled us apart — especially the kind of outside noise and family BS that isn’t always easy or kind. But through all of it, you’ve never wavered. You’ve stood beside me, protected my peace, and loved me in a way that made me feel safe when I needed it most. I will never take that for granted.

You’re still my favourite person, my safe place, and my greatest adventure. I’m so proud of us and everything we’ve built and have planned to build together.

Here’s to 21 years… and all the fun, love, and memories still to come ❤️ Xx Amy

Day 1 of mixing the chaos… 🐔🪶

On the weekend the guinea crew was officially released to meet the chooks — and let’s just say, there were opinions 😅
A few curious looks, a bit of “who are YOU?”, and plenty of dramatic commentary (standard guinea behaviour, as we’re learning).

We’re taking it slow, keeping a close eye, and letting everyone work out the new pecking order naturally. So far… no major dramas 🤞

Farm life = a little bit of strategy, a little bit of chaos, and a whole lot of personalities.

Say hi to Pip (pip squeak), our Easter-egger cutie! Our beautiful neighbour found her as a day old on a wet freezing day in November last year. She popped her in her top and drove her over for us to raise with our other bubba chookas at the time. She’s an araucana, cream legbar, maran, olive-egger mix - a little bit of everything, really - and we’re hoping for blue or green eggs to add to our already existing rainbow eggs 🏳️‍🌈 she’s small but mighty, and the existing ladies love her!

Introducing Lynkeys Evelyn Keyes (Evie) We have decided on her name finally. Little Evie is a grey agouti and at 74% she’s a very curious little miss. Showing great promise as she grows up. We are delighted with her loveable personality and her very talkative nature we are very excited to kick start our breeding program when she matures.

Every Christmas since moving to the farm we have bought a joint Christmas present for us both. This year was no different and no it’s not Mr Turkey for those who were guessing.

Every breeding program has a beginning — this is ours. High 70’s % does.
Any experienced breeders here? We’re all ears.

Can you help us name these cheeky little ladies?
