One thing I love doing is refurbishing furniture and re-purposing items for clients and this service I completed for a mum of two at Caloundra is a great example. The client stated she wanted a Lego and drawing desk for her two girls and being mindful of cost considerations I was able to reuse some pre-loved items and save the customer money at the same time.

Luckily I had a spare unwanted children's desk from a previous organising client looking for a home and then was also able to purchase another kids table off the internet cheaply but it was marked and I didn't really like the colours.

Normally I prefer to use a paintbrush but in this case there were time constraints so I had to use spray-paint on the white table which didn't give the perfect finish and of course I’m not an expert but after a quick sand and a paint I do think it looks great! I'm also thinking that kids might not be too worried anyway!!

The other metal desk had a quick paint and some lovely contact from Bunnings (time constrains again meant not quite the 110% finish) and Voila - a quick and cheap refurbishment.

The client was happy and the girls adored their new desks so it was a great result all round!

Here's some pictures of a transformation I did last week of a client's home. We started on the kitchen and then improved the living area, storage area and main bedroom of the home. I have photos of the kitchen only for privacy (this is about two hours work).

Within a week I was able to organise a lovely new couch and armchair to replace the old very worn setting (delivered for $50.00), a new single bed frame for the oldest child to replace a broken one (delivered for $60.00) and removal of an extra fridge, TV and unwanted child and baby items for free and to op shops.

A sale of another unwanted item also paid for a new storage cube unit from Bunnings I assembled and a beanbag for the youngest child (which he absolutely loves) topped off the new furniture.

A couple of tip runs to get rid of the unsalvageable items (old couch, broken bed etc) also helped as well to clear the rubbish and clutter.

I can definitely describe myself as a girl who knows how to get things and get things done!!

It's still a work in progress and the client still has some homework to do but she and her two boys are thrilled with the changes so far and I feel that hopefully I have made a positive difference in their lives which means the world to me and gives me such great satisfaction.

Well - what a busy and wonderful week it was!!

On Tuesday I was in Yaroomba helping Lani organise her new tiny home then Wednesday and Thursday saw me assisting Angela in Coolum Beach with her upcoming house move and on Friday I was able to give a helping hand to Leandro and Juliana who have just moved into their new rental home in Parreara. What a great honour it is to meet and help out these lovely, beautiful people in their homes and hopefully bring solutions to any problems or task and make a positive difference in people's lives.

Truly the main reward for me in running this business is never monetary - it is always being able to provide support and help and the gratitude, smiles and thanks I receive in return are worth their weight in gold and make me truly happy!!😊
