Amazing shade tree for warm subtropical climates, flowers in clusters of fiery-red fan shaped flowers spring and summer - usually in perfect time for Christmas

Grows to 10 metres, broad and spreading for lots of dappled shade; often branches low down making it fantastic for climbing!

Golden trumpet tree- Tabebuia chrysantha,
The golden trumpet tree may very well be the king of the spring sky. Its unabashedly vibrant yellow blossoms sway high above, unobstructed. This beautiful expanse of yellow dominates your field of vision, compelling you to pause and admire it for just a little longer.

Plant in full sun or partly shaded location in free-draining soil. Will grow on poor dry soils too. Flowers most in full sun. They like humidity and rain in the growing season, once the flowers and leaves emerge; water established trees if the summer is very hot and dry.
CARE: Mulch when planting and provide regular water until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks, water well during dry periods until established. Stake young plants and protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 6-12m H x 4-8m W.
