Well that’s a wrap on 2020. Our office will be closed until the 11th of January 2021. We want to thank our amazing clients for their business, patience and support while we navigated through our busiest year yet. We’re looking forward to some down time to spend with our friends and family over the Christmas period but look forward to getting back on your jobs in the new year. Massive shout out to Jessy and Dan, our team is lucky to have great tradesmen, enjoy your break boys. May you all have a peaceful and merry Christmas with loved ones. Take a peek at a snippet of what goes on during construction of a second story renovation. The first story roof was craned off to allow for the addition of a bedroom, ensuite and WIR and then craned back on to the second story. Great time lapse captured by TPC’s newest apprentice, Dan. **CARPENTER POSITION and APPRENTICE POSITION**

Total Package Construction is currently looking for a qualified, experienced carpenter and a 2nd/3rd year apprentice to join our team, with the positions commencing within the next month. Long term ongoing work available for the right candidates.

We are a building company based in Maryborough, Queensland, but service the Fraser Coast through to South East Queensland Regions with the possibility of more remote travel at times. We carry out a broad spectrum of projects including new builds, renovations, extensions, shade sail installations, varying levels of maintenance and some commercial construction.

Carpenter Applicants should possess the following;
- Full trade qualification in carpentry
- Hold a current White Card – Construction
- Strong work ethic and good attitude
- Be able to work in a team environment and also under minimal supervision when required
- Good communication skills, honest, professional and reliable employee
- The ability to read and understand plans
- Have your own transport and tools for all aspects of carpentry
- An understanding and willingness to work in accordance to the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Problem solving skills and a good initiative

Apprentice Applicants should possess the following:
- Completed at least first year in your carpentry apprenticeship
- Problem solving skills and a good initiative
- Strong work ethic and good attitude
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills, honest, punctual and reliable
- Must be willing to take on advice and self-improve within the company
- Preferably have your own transport and tools
