A heartfelt post below…

We are always so incredibly grateful for the support you all give us and we are asking for huge support for the coming two Saturdays…

The next two Saturdays are hard for us. The Tour Down Under basically means we have virtually zero trade and income for two full Saturdays in one month. Our weekends are our days we rely on and so this event makes our month really hard.

We have decided to open our gates this year and are asking you to still come in and shop. It might be sh*t to get here, there might be some detours in place, but we need your support more than ever over the next two Saturdays.

We know we aren’t the only small businesses that struggle during events like this so make sure to visit and support those other local organizations who might be hard to access too during this time . 🫶

EDIT we are open on the Monday public holiday

Sunday 2nd Nov - The weather is looking warm with some possibly showers but every little bit of rain helps the sunshine and makes it perfect for all those spring goodies for the garden.

Lorraine has been plotting along behind the scenes to bring some very last goodies for those who need a little something for there garden as a final market. Yes. She was done but a few people asked and she said yes 1 final market. She has been doing The Herb Society open day for as long as i can remember from a very young age and being such an amazing society she wanted to acknowledge them one final time.

So next Sunday 10am - 2pm come say Hi enjoy some of family fun filled activities Unley is putting on for the Spring Fling.

We look forward to seeing our friends from Chilli Avenue there with some amazing plants and variety for sale - YAY chillies 🌶️

It’s no secret this girl 👇 Love’s her some flowers and today when we popped in to see all at Chilli Avenue today I was gifted with some absolutely beautiful fresh flowers from Native Avenue If chillies aren’t always on the wish list then do yourself a favour and stop in to the pod and pick up a bunch or a few to make your house look amazing.

Thank you to everyone who took some time over the last few days to stop in and share your love of chillies 🌶️

Words from Steve & Lorraine - 💬 We couldn’t be happier to see the beautiful chillies we have loved for many years continue on with such passion and dedication, with a bit of knowledge from Steve the team at Chilli Avenue have done an incredible job from getting the hot houses ready, to seeding, repoting, and getting them so healthy for there first sale that happened this weekend. Not a nicer group of people could have taken over and look forward to watching them grow and boom in the future will be following closely and know where to stock up on our chillies when we make our final move 😉 💬

Howdy Folks … Had the absolute pleasure of Dad AKA Pop AKA Steve taking myself and fam to De-Young’s salvage today I haven’t been since i was a young girl and dad taking me to there old stomping ground in Seaford/Old Noarlunga area.

I overhead the owner Mark talking to Dad and saying how it’s so hard these days with FB market place and everyone second person being a second hand dealer now days that it s just the same good Ol days.
