****SS316 Air Handling Units – Air Design*****

This Air Design MODUtherm air handling unit was supplied and installed back in 2021 in a healthcare facility located in Cairns Queensland.
These premium quality units feature 50mm thick double skin, 316 stainless steel panels and state-of-the-art high efficiency EC plug fans. They also feature 316 stainless steel coil trays, coil baffles and fan wall. The coils were coated with tropic proof protection to guard against corrosion.

The high performance Air Design MODUtherm units are fitted with the revolutionary CLIP n LOCK panel fastening system that ensures a strong and airtight construction. Panels are NOT screwed to the unit and can be disassembled and reassembled with ease.

These airtight units feature a rigid structure with panels that can be easily removed for maintenance and cleaning.
The modular casing design achieves both the highest degree of air tightness, rating “L1”, and the highest resistance to condensation, rating “TB1”, as defined in BS EN 1886:2007.

Fantech’s 50th Christmas celebrated with staff and family.

This year Fantech commemorated its 50th year anniversary, and to celebrate the occasion a Christmas carnival was organised for our staff and their families. The day was packed with fun events, great food and memorable moments, Santa also joined us on the day.

A big thanks goes to the hard working group of staff who organised and coordinated this fantastic event. It was enjoyed by all who attended and was a great way to complete a special year at Fantech.

Fantech Wishing Tree a great success.

This year Fantech, together with its Melbourne based team, provided bags of groceries to The Melbourne Basket Brigade. This dedicated volunteer group will pack and deliver baskets of food and other goods to families in need, just in time for Christmas.

Fantech’s yearly Wishing Tree project reflects our shared commitment to making a positive impact on our communities. Our collective participation and contribution to the project also demonstrates our eagerness to make a difference to local families. Fantech would like to thank its staff for their contribution.

Introducing Pallab, Fantech’s new Victorian Sales Manager who joined our team earlier this year.

Pallab comes to Fantech with many years of experience within the HVAC industry, having worked for fan and mechanical services companies, as well as the Australian construction industry. Pallab has held positions such as sales manager, technical product manager and senior operations roles.

“I really enjoy working with such a committed and knowledgeable team at Fantech. Together, our aim is to provide customers with real value and the best performing ventilation products.”

Outside work Pallab enjoys travelling and learning about new destinations. He also loves to watch a game of cricket after playing this favourite sport of his for many years.

An Efficient, Eurovent Certified, Heat Recovery System.

The CAD-Compact in-ceiling heat recovery ventilator features a high level of air tightness and market leading performance. They are suited to commercial buildings and include a high efficiency counterflow sensible heat exchanger.

The CAD-Compact fits into false ceiling spaces of commercial buildings with a minimum height requirement of 380mm. Its advanced plate heat exchanger recovers up to 88% of sensible heat and is Eurovent certified. It extracts the heat energy, which would have otherwise been lost through the normal exhaust processes, and transfers this to the fresh, filtered supply air which is drawn in from outside.

Fantech have recently provided these special rooftop MODUtherm units for a project in Queensland. The single phase EC fans in these units make them suitable for more types of installations.

These units have a small footprint, are weatherproof and are made from 50mm double skinned PU panel with a weatherproof terminal box. They can also be fitted with hot water coils to add heating if required. Air flow up to 2400 l/s and total cooling load up to 70kW.
