The Noongar people of southwest Western Australia used infusions of the flower spikes of a banksia to relieve coughs and sore throats. Banksia trees are a reliable source of insect larvae which are extracted as food.

Darlow is a passionate Indigenous activist and World Vision spokesperson, regularly speaking in schools, businesses and churches across Australia about his indigenous culture, Australian history, racial tolerance, harmony and important social matters. His key word "FLUTE" (Forgiveness, Love, Understanding, Tolerance and Empathy) has become so popular that schools and businesses have included it in their curriculums and charters.​

I am always pushing propagation!

What can I say, “I’m a pusher, Cady”!

Three things I’ve learnt over the past few years when it comes to propagating.

- Leave it alone
Propagation can take serval week/months, change out water every 3-5 days for best results

- Rooting hormones
Cinnamon and honey are great hormones to help growth but did you know Paracetamol is a great stimulus for root growth and health

- Cleaning your utensils before using them
Like the human body we carry around bacteria with every touch, plants that have died in pots/jars will leave behind the bacteria that lead to their demise

These bad boys like to play it cool but when ingested by dogs or cats can cause severe reactions and and skin irritations.
