Noise reduction and thermal efficiency.

Living on a busy street causes unwanted noise inside your home. Our client was concerned that he would have to remove the leadlight windows when replacing the regular single-pane glass windows. Our solution included keeping the leadlight and adding a layer of hush laminate to reduce the noise coming from those windows.

We maintained the look of the leadlight and increased the property's value while decreasing the unwanted noise. And of course, improving all the windows' thermal efficiency leads to lower power bills.

Keep the look, and change the efficiency.

A client's house was designed by the award-winning Graeme Gunn and he wanted to increase energy efficiency. The client wanted to keep the aesthetics but reduce the amount of heat loss and close the gaps between the original windows as well as in the sliding door. The windows were all different shapes and sizes. Some had angles, others were very long, but none were out of our skill set!

A new clear view!

Our client who lives in a flat asked if we could change the window frame so her view is clearer from the inside and the value is increased from the outside. One of the problems she encountered was that the windows did not open and a big pipe blocked her view. HMR Glaziers offered the perfect solution.

Our skilled craftsman built a new frame, which included an awning window so the fresh air could come straight in, and relocated the pipe so she could enjoy a full view of the outside.
