has transformed our vision into reality once again for this custom designed pergola! 😍
Flanked by pots of Parthenocissus that will eventually take hold and clamber all over the frame, their deciduous nature will provide the perfect shady cover during hot summers before clearing the way to let in the winter sun.
The screen of olive trees on the outer side of the balcony will provide the most wonderful windswept screen to reduce the extreme winds often encountered on this exposed north-facing balcony.

Now we really can’t wait to revisit this bloomin’ beautiful project, there’s so much to watch and see and touch! 🥰

Sneaky peek from the building across and a level up! We installed this balcony in the first quarter of 2022, haven’t been back yet but it has put on some serious growth during the wet wet winter! We are shocked and cannot wait to see all the beauty up close! 🍃👀🌿

Breese Street Balcony #3, Brunswick

A soon-to-be young family and their beautiful cat Adrianna quickly caught on to the balcony garden makeovers slowly sweeping the building and got in touch! Their balcony is west facing, with a perfect view into the hot afternoon sunset, which they wanted to cool down a little. However, on the other side of the narrow street, a new development was literally going up before our eyes, and once complete would block almost the entire sunset! So the planting needed to be able to tolerate a really good sunbake for the next year or so, before being plunged into 80% shade for the rest of their lives. The couple didn’t ask for much more but instead put their trust in us to create a garden suitable for a growing family and feline. Safe to say we’re all very in love with one, delivering a warm summer feel all year round.
