GbLA collaborated closely with client, architect, and council during the town planning phase of this Dockland site to craft a distinctive & functional landscape entry treatment that adapts to the existing neighbourhood’s quality.
:
A series of bespoke curved retaining walls and garden beds respond to the architectural character of the building, creating a fluid transition between landscape and interior.
Selected areas double as rain gardens, which act to retain and improve water quality within the immediate landscape, reduce additional water consumption and strengthens the projects contribution to the Docklands Ecologically Sustainable Development Strategy.
