The kitchen and living spaces were designed to feel open, warm and familiar, while supporting the practical needs of High Physical Support living.

SDA housing should be carefully coordinated, but it should also feel like a place to live, gather, rest and feel at home.

That balance is where the design work matters most.

Acousola House, an award winner.

We’re proud to share that Acousola House won Best House Addition + Renovation up to $500k at the 2026 Design Matters National Awards.

Soft curves, generous glazing and terraced outdoor spaces bring the home, pool and garden together, creating room to gather and enjoy everyday life.

Eleebana House.

A High Physical Support SDA home designed to feel residential, warm and considered.

The brief was not to create a clinical environment. It was to design a home that supports care, dignity, independence and everyday living, while still feeling calm, generous and personal.

From the street presentation through to the kitchen, living spaces and accessible ensuites, the functional requirements have been integrated into the design rather than treated as an afterthought.

Supported by a collaborative team of expert consultants, Eleebana House is about creating SDA housing that goes beyond the minimum requirements.

We design high-end High Physical Support homes that go beyond the minimum requirements, creating spaces that support care, dignity, independence and everyday living.

Compliance is essential, but it should not be the only ambition.

Through a collaborative team of expert consultants, we coordinate access, compliance, services, building requirements and performance from the beginning, so the functional needs of the home feel integrated rather than imposed.

The result is SDA housing that feels considered, residential and genuinely liveable.

Back to the Future, in detail.

The stair became part of the home’s new internal rhythm, connecting levels, drawing light through the plan and giving the interior a stronger sense of movement.

For a home with such a distinct architectural identity, the work was not about making everything quiet. It was about understanding the character of the house and allowing the new layers to feel confident, playful and resolved.

Elonera House, inside.

The kitchen was designed as part of the broader whole-home response, not as a standalone moment.

Together with Studio Doherty, the space was shaped through materiality, function and atmosphere, allowing the kitchen to sit comfortably within the heritage setting while supporting the way the home is lived in now.

A considered interior moment, connected to the architecture around it.
