Hi, Hello! 👋🏼 My name is Larissa and I’m the face behind your beloved custom artwork! 🙈✨
So I thought it was quite fitting that my 500th insta post was a little about ME! I’m trying to be abit more active on here but this and work juggle is blimmin’ hard work! Like.. harder than pre-pandemic? Can anyone else agree? *breathes out*
How are we in 2021 already? SO crazy to think that I’m into the 7th year of this little adventure of mine. Yep, SEVEN!! I started Twodovedesigns back in 2014 with a 3 year old and a 10 month old in tow. How? Well, they had no idea I would ‘clock off’ Mum duties of a night and stay up late pouring the last of my energy into creating artwork.
I’ve always had a ‘creative side’ to little old me and as an outlet I would paint on blank canvas’ and gift them to my friends and family, ha, CA-ute! — It was my dear Uncle who suggested I do something creative going forward and I took the leap. What did I have to lose? Here I am today, writing this post 7 years on with a now 10 year old and a nearly 8 year old in tow! ☺️
Suuuuper clichè but I’ve honestly shed so many tears, blood [thanks clean cut glass frames!], many late nights, time away from the kids and so many new connections / friendships to get to where I am today! I learn more and more as each artwork goes on and I am genuinely so so so damn grateful for you all supporting me and keeping this little dream of mine alive! 🥺
The likes, the shares, the love, the encouraging words / comments mean so much! It’s buying prints for yourself to then coming back to me and asking me to create a gift for your own friends and family make me do a little inside! The feedback I get of how personal and special my artwork you’ve gifted was received, really warms my heart. I pour so much love and energy into every piece I do so for it to be appreciated like it does, really is a cherry on top! 🍒
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
Thank you for supporting and continuing to support not only me, but my family too! As always, my DM’s are always open and I look forward to creating a piece for you or a loved one in the near future. Big love x
